Here at The Art of Retouching Studio, we’re all about non-destructive workflows. This means that in order to properly edit an image, we use all methods that will allow us to make changes without actually damaging our original photo, just so we can go back and redo any adjustment seamlessly. Order Matters
Think of each layer as a sheet of tinted glass that you overlay on top of your image. Any changes made here don’t affect your original photo, so each adjustment you make needs to be on a new separate layer, one on top of the other.
